Bannatynes Hotel Darlington Wedding Photography│
Saturday 25th October saw me photographing the autumn wedding of Scott and Rachel.
I arrived at the bridal prep address where Rachel was having her hair done with her sister Helen, also present were her parents. The atmosphere was calm and relaxed and everyone was looking forward to the big day. The girls from Eve Darlington (Make up) and Jodie Cleg (Hair) did a fantastic job and the girls looked stunning. With hair and make up done, it was time for the dress to go on. It was absolutely stunning and Rachel looked a million dollars in it. It was time for a few family shots before setting off to the church.
Holy Trinity Church in Darlington was built in 1838, with good carving and excellent stained glass from the "Aesthetic Movement". The church is set in a beautiful churchyard. I arrived and took some shots of Rachel getting out of the car before heading into the church to get some shots of the groom Scott. The ceremony was beautiful, once over we headed outside to take some group shots and to take advantage of the churchyard to get some shots of the bride and groom before heading off to the reception.
Banattynes Hotel Darlington is a 4* Grade II listed Town House, dating back to the 19th Century. We headed into the hotel gardens to get the big group shot and to get some more friend's and family pictures before once again spending some time alone with the Scott & Rachel for them to enjoy the moment and to get some candid shots. Once the wedding breakfast and speeches were over I photographed their first dance as well as friends and family on the dancefloor before leaving them to enjoy the rest of the night.
